Our Story
Since its inception as a Bible study in 1998, Christ the King Bible Fellowship (CKBF) has been guided by the Spirit of God. Led by Minister Jimmy Miller, the New Convert Bible Study flourished, prompting the establishment of a new church. Under the leadership of William "Tony" Moore as Pastor and Jimmy Miller as Associate Pastor, CKBF held its inaugural service on May 2, 1999. From humble beginnings in a home setting, CKBF has grown remarkably, transitioning to a storefront venue in 2000 and later to Adelaide Elementary School gym in 2001. Despite financial challenges, CKBF remained steadfast, guided by faith, and acquired its current property in Federal Way. Today, CKBF operates six ministry areas, serving both its congregation and the broader community. In 2021, after 21 years of dedicated service, Dr. André Sims stepped down as Senior Pastor, passing the mantle to Russ Williams. With prayer, preaching, and teaching at its core, CKBF continues to march forward, united in purpose. For the full story,
