Our Story

Since its inception as a Bible study in 1998, Christ the King Bible Fellowship (CKBF) has been guided by the Spirit of God. Led by Minister Jimmy Miller, the New Convert Bible Study flourished, prompting the establishment of a new church. Under the leadership of William "Tony" Moore as Pastor and Jimmy Miller as Associate Pastor, CKBF held its inaugural service on May 2, 1999. From humble beginnings in a home setting, CKBF has grown remarkably, transitioning to a storefront venue in 2000 and later to Adelaide Elementary School gym in 2001. Despite financial challenges, CKBF remained steadfast, guided by faith, and acquired its current property in Federal Way. Today, CKBF operates six ministry areas, serving both its congregation and the broader community. In 2021, after 21 years of dedicated service, Dr. André Sims stepped down as Senior Pastor, passing the mantle to Russ Williams.  With prayer, preaching, and teaching at its core, CKBF continues to march forward, united in purpose. Growing People from every Tribe, Tongue, and Nation, into Disciples

Our Mission

Core Beliefs

Bible- Based

The Word of God, and not man, is the authority and source of all preaching, teaching, worship, and church government.  ( 2 Timothy 3:16-17)

COMMUNITY

Community is a vital component for the building up the body of Christ., (Hebrews 10:25, Acts 2:42-47)  so it then can be displayed in our service in the  community we reside and worship with.

Integrity

The  Hebrew word translated "integrity" means in the state of being blameless,  faithfully, steadfast, whole, complete.  Jesus Christ is the embodiment of that condition. By the indwelling  of Holy Spirit, we are being sanctified and made more in His image.
( 2 Corinthians 3:18)

EXCELLENCE

Knowing Christ is who we are ultimately serve, we strive to do all things to the very best of our ability. The quality of our work will be revealed one day by the testing of fire and will hopefully in return be rewarded by our Lord.
( 1 Corinthians 3:13-15, Colossians 3:23-24)

MULTI-ETHNIC

Keeping in line with the vision of our church and what the Bible states, (Revelation 5:9 & 7:9) we want to demonstrate within our own local body and the global body of  Christ a glimpse of what heaven will look like. We have been commanded by Jesus Christ to preach to the whole world and make disciples. (Matthew 28:18-20)
