Nursery

The nursery is children's church for pre-school age children. The nursery is available for children ages 3 months through kindergarten.

Sunday Services: The Nursery is available the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Sunday at the 9 am and 11 am services.

Children's Fellowship: This group meets every other month and the location rotates. This is a time for the adults to fellowship and the children have a playdate outside of the church walls.

AWANA

Awana is a national organization that helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children who faithfully follow Jesus Christ.

Awana stands for "Approved workmen are not ashamed" as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15 of the Bible.

Awana is a nondenominational, national organization that helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. Awana programs offer a proven approach for evangelizing and discipling kids in the church and community.

At CKBF we offer programs for children 2 years old through 6^th grade. At the AWANA Club Meetings the children play games, explore the biographies of people of the Bible, and memorize Bible verses. We meet at 6:30 pm on Tuesday’s, September through May and mirror the Federal Way School District calendar. In other words, if there is no school then our Awana club does not meet.

Step Ahead Tutoring

Step Ahead Tutoring is a place where children in Kindergarten through 5th grade can complete their homework with supervision while their parents or guardians are at Bible Study. The children will learn that they are important to God, a God who is no respecter of persons. We want our children to know that learning can be fun!

We ask that each child comes to tutoring with their book bag and the proper materials needed to complete their homework. If they do not have homework, we ask that you have them bring an age appropriate book. Step Ahead Tutoring will provide grade appropriate handouts to the students who finish early or did not bring any homework.

L.O.F.T. Youth

At L.O.F.T. we are training today’s youth to grow into mature Christian adults.

Our focus is to come alongside parents to guide today’s youth to answer the questions of the day, think about current events with a biblical worldview, and walk with integrity in a world that will pressure them to live contrary to the way Jesus commands.

L.O.F.T. meets on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm at CKBF for Bible study and food, fun, and fellowship.
