What is it that you aspire to do that seems too far fetched? Have you ever had the desire to do something that just seems impossible? Or if it is possible, you feel like its something a more business or spiritual savvy person could pull off, but not you. Maybe it’s time for you to link up with or place all of your confidence in the impossible GOD. One young girl, when coming face to face with her life destiny, said “How can this be…?” The response she got back after a brief description of how it would happen, “For nothing will be impossible with God (Luke 1:37). Like the young, wise and innocent virgin Mary, our thinking is really limited in understanding how God will pull off what He wants to do with and in us. Our minds can’t imagine or think of ways God wants to bring some of His plans (our hopes and dreams) to reality. The natural response to impossible task is to stop pursuing, and pacify our heart by imagining and talking what we want to do. What danger! If you’re still talking about it and dreaming about it, maybe it’s still in your heart for a reason. If God has place it inside of you it’s His. To give up on it, is to give up on Him. Some will say, “my time has come and gone for my dream. I’m done.” Think about Moses. Did he quit once he knew he wasn’t going to make it to the promise land? No. He prepared others who were going to reach it. Even though he didn’t make it, there were many victories and lessons he gained that the children of Israel benefited from as do we. With God our dreams are not just possible, but greater than you expect. What it does require is work (Eccl. 5:7), intimacy with God (Prov. 3:6), and your total confidence in God and not the way you think things should go or normally happen (Prov. 3:5). Make it happen! |
