Our Pastor
Dr. Andre’ Sims was born in Detroit, MI and reared in Chicago, IL. He received a football scholarship to attend the University of Northern Iowa. In 1986, he transferred to Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA where he met his wife Katherine of 23 years and received a one year scholarship to play football his senior year. He turned down 2 professional football offers (AFL: Arena Football League) and (NFL Europe) to pursue his passion for ministry. Dr. Sims has a B.S. in Psychology, M.A.R. in Christian Education, and D.Min. in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary.
In August 2000, Dr. Sims and his family moved to Federal Way, WA where he is currently serving as the Senior Pastor of Christ the King Bible Fellowship. Mrs. Katherine [Kemp] Sims was raised in Miami FL, graduated from Liberty University with a Human Ecology Degree in Retail. She currently runs a catering business (Taste As Good As It Looks) in Federal Way, WA.
They have two children: Josiah, 20 and Janaé, 16 years old.
